Effective date: May 19, 2026. This policy explains how Ordenlink handles personal information, including opt-in transactional SMS notifications used in pickup, takeout, kiosk, and restaurant order flows.

1. Scope

Ordenlink is a restaurant operations and ordering platform used by restaurants in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains how Ordenlink collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when restaurants and customers use websites, kiosks, checkout flows, and ordering experiences powered by Ordenlink.

This policy applies to customer data submitted through restaurant ordering flows managed by Ordenlink, including pickup, takeout, kiosk, and other transactional order workflows.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect personal information such as customer name, mobile phone number, order details, service mode, pickup details, payment status, and operational notes needed to process and fulfill restaurant orders.

When SMS order updates are offered in a public checkout flow, we may also record the customer's affirmative SMS consent, including the consent text shown at checkout, the source of the consent, and the time it was collected.

We may also collect technical and usage information such as device details, browser information, IP address, timestamps, and logs related to service reliability, fraud prevention, and diagnostics.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage restaurant orders, support pickup and takeout workflows, provide operational order updates, protect the platform, troubleshoot issues, and improve service performance.

If a customer provides a phone number during checkout or ordering, that number is used to support restaurant operations and customer care related to the order. Transactional SMS order updates are sent only when the customer affirmatively agrees to receive them where the checkout flow presents an SMS consent checkbox.

4. SMS Notifications

Customers who enter a mobile phone number during checkout, kiosk ordering, or pickup flows may be offered the option to receive transactional SMS notifications related to their restaurant orders.

In public checkout flows that display an SMS consent checkbox, the checkbox is not selected by default. The customer must actively select it before Ordenlink treats SMS consent as accepted for that order.

These messages are used for order operations and customer care only. They are not used for general marketing campaigns.

Customers may opt out of SMS notifications by replying STOP when supported by the messaging provider. Message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient's carrier plan.

5. Sharing of Information

Ordenlink may share relevant order information with the restaurant receiving the order and with service providers that help operate the platform, including infrastructure, hosting, messaging, analytics, fraud prevention, and security vendors.

Mobile opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We retain order, notification, and operational records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, support restaurant operations, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and maintain accounting or security records.

Ordenlink uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No security method is perfect, and customers should avoid submitting information that is not necessary for restaurant order fulfillment.

8. Customer Choices

Customers may choose whether to accept SMS order updates when the checkout flow provides an SMS consent checkbox. If the customer does not select the checkbox, Ordenlink does not treat that order as having SMS consent for order-ready text messages.

Customers may contact the restaurant directly regarding order questions, request corrections when appropriate, or opt out of supported SMS notifications by replying STOP.

Restaurants using Ordenlink remain responsible for their own customer support and for handling order-specific questions from their guests.
